Design and Management

RFT Solutions provides a special design and management service that will produce a set of working drawings that can be constructed within your budget. You can choose between working with an architect or a draftsman.

At the beginning we offer an initial or concept design which we can have priced by a builder. Once the design has commenced, RFT Solutions will track any design changes to keep your plans to budget. As your design is progressing we can organise to have a builder liaise with you and our architect or draftsman. RFT Solutions will offer advice regarding design and materials to manage building costs.

Our goal is to ensure your design can be constructed within your budget.

Tendering

Once you have your documentation we will source a minimum of 3 quality Melbourne builders to obtain quotes or tender to builders of your choice.

We shall check the registration, insurance details and prosecutions history of the builders. We shall respond to enquiries from builders, assess and negotiate the tenders submitted to achieve best price and quality and provide a tender recommendation to you.

Quoting a home extension or renovation is a very time consuming task. To produce a quote quickly, builders sometimes add extra to their price in case they have overlooked something. Don't pay more than you have to.

Contract Administration

RFT Solutions understands building contracts. Routine inspections keep agreements on track, conflict at bay and ensure a high standard of craftsmanship.

Once your home extension or house renovation is underway, each time the builder requests a payment, we check that the builder's quality of work is within the regulatory guidelines and satisfies your expectations.

We will assist you anytime the builder raises variations. We want to take the stress out of building.

Builders' quotes over budget

You have some spectacular plans from your own architect or draftsman but are receiving builders' quotes that are outside your budget.

We will find a way to build your new home, extension or renovation without compromising on quality or design.

We will obtain prices from at least three quality Melbourne builders and examine the quotes that they submit. We will suggest a builder after evaluating their quotes and we will negotiate with the builder regarding the contract terms and conditions.

Once a builder has been selected and if you wish to continue to use RFT Solutions we will provide advice during contract negotiations.

When construction commences RFT Solutions can offer quality control checks on the builders' quality of work and contract administration services.
